Welcome In — This Is a Neighbor Helping a Neighbor
Community Threads | Shop for Free
If you're here, you're already welcome.
No applications. No proof. No questions asked.
At Community Threads, we don't see people in need — we see neighbors. Some are between jobs. Some are rebuilding after loss. Some are growing kids faster than budgets can keep up. All are treated with dignity.
"Do I Qualify?"
If you're asking that question, this is for you.
There's no definition of "enough" or "not enough" here.
If having access to free, clean, beautiful clothing would help you or your family — you qualify.
What to Expect When You Visit
Everything is free. Take what you need.
More than one item is okay.
High-quality clothing
Every piece is washed, pressed, and hung with care. Many visitors tell us they can't believe the clothes are pre-owned.
A calm, respectful space
No lines. No judgment. No rush.
Friendly volunteers
We're here to help, not to assess.
For Families & Kids
We know kids need options — especially for school.
That's why families are encouraged to choose more than one outfit per child, so kids can feel confident, comfortable, and never singled out.
For Job Seekers
If you're interviewing or starting work, we'll help you select two or three complete outfits — because life happens, and having a backup matters.
Handmade Comfort Items — Always Included
Alongside clothing, we offer handcrafted blankets, totes, toys, and sensory comfort items made by volunteers. These are the kinds of items that would cost $50–$90 elsewhere — here, they're simply a gift.
